Attorney Balkcom has had the opportunity to work along side the best trial attorneys in New England. While in law school, Attorney Balkcom interned with the Attorney General's Office as a Rule 9 Prosecutor in the Juvenile Crimes Unit and in the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit. Attorney Balkcom also clerked for a top probate & estate planning attorney in Rhode Island. Attorney Balkcom took the opportunity in law school to be part of both the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic and the Family & Divorce Mediation Clinic. Since passing the bar, Attorney Balkcom has worked as Associate in a boutique law firm, focusing on Criminal Defense and Personal Injury, and as Chief Of Counsel for Attorney Paige Munro-Delotto's Firm, focusing in the areas of Family Law, Education Law, and Labor Law.
Attorney Balkcom practices before all Rhode Island State Courts (including Providence, Kent, Washington, and Newport Counties) and in Rhode Island Federal District Court.
